Rock trio The Xcerts have just released an alternative version of their new single ‘Feels Like Falling In Love’.

The dreamy track was only released a month ago, but has already had 1.3 million Spotify plays and has appeared on Radio 1 Rockest Record, and Kerrang! Radio A-List!

“We are delighted to share the alternative version of Feels Like Falling In Love,” says frontman Murray Macleod. “The reaction to the single has been nothing short of incredible and we felt compelled to work on a quiet version of the song to show it in its purest form. Tom Petty once said, ‘you can tell if a song is good or not by stripping it right back to it’s barest form’. Our friend and label mate Luke Sital-Singh produced the track and he has a real knack of exposing the tenderness and beauty within a song. When I say tenderness and beauty, I really mean he’s very good at making a positive song sound negative. Blast the original version on a Saturday night and jam this whilst dealing with your Sunday self-reflection.”

You can catch The Xcerts opening up the main stage of Reading Festival on Sunday or on their September headlining tour. Dates below.
