Soundgarden To Start Working On Album 7

News just in that Soundgarden‘s follow up to 2012’s King Animal will most likely be hitting shelves sometime in 2016. In an interview with Sydney Morning Herald, the band’s guitarist Kim Thayill revealed that although nothing concrete has been decided, album number seven is in the cards: “No studio has been chosen and no songs are written yet. When we finish these shows in Australia we’ll spend a month or more working on it. It’s definitely going to happen.”

Additionally, he shared that the band will most likely also join forces with a familiar face for the new record: “We worked with producer Adam Kasper on our last album and I wouldn’t be surprised if we hook up with him again.”
