Fall Out Boy drummer Andy Hurley has announced that he and a few friends have opened a vegan coffee shop in Portland, Oregon. Christened the Oracle Coffee Company, the shop serves a number of different blends paired with plant-based milks from Oatly, Califia Farms and Pacific.
Oracle Coffee Company’s website has a short description of the venture, reading, “Oracle Coffee Company is a multi-roaster coffee shop, meaning we serve coffee from several different roasters at a time. This allows us to share exciting new coffees from roasters all around the country.
We are dedicated to excellence in quality by paying close attention to the care and quality of our menu. We love coffee, and we want to share our passion with you. While we do offer standard items on our menu, we will always encourage you to come in and try something new. In addition to brewed coffee and espresso drinks, we offer a selection of teas and baked goods.”
Hurley has been a vegan and straight-edge since he was 16 years old. Fall Out Boy’s seventh studio album, M A N I A, is due for release on January 19.
