In need of new music? Look no further than our latest weekly round up of new music videos.

Napalm Death – Standardization

‘Standardization’ is Napalm Death‘s opening track off of their reecntly released compilation album Coded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs. “Videos I find one of the trickiest mediums to make vibrant and impactful. Costin, the producer though, had a lot of stuff from our Roadburn Festival presentation which seemed to fit the music quite nicely and reflect the song’s subject matter about the utter despair of a colourless life and desire of more conservative forces for a homogenous world according to gender, sexuality, human habits and, well, generally everything. No thanks!” shares vocalist Mark ‘Barney’ Greenway of the video.

Woes – HLB2

Scottish pop punkers Woes really let their sense of humour show in their funny new video for the track ‘HLB2’. The fun, laid back track is an homage to Drake‘s ‘Hotline Bling’ and is taken off the band’s recently released EP Self Help.

Northlane – Heartmachine

Northlane‘s latest track is about pain, heartbreak and loss – it’s the aptly titled ‘Heartmachine’. Here’s what frontman Marcus Bridge had to share of the track: “When the heart wants to heal and move forward, anxiety and depression work like a machine to drag you down again and again. I wrote this song in the studio after feeling low for months about a relationship that had fallen apart on top of other personal issues. I almost immediately felt a weight lifted off my chest when I started to release that pain through this song. As I let go of my heartbreak, represented through my relationship with the female character in the music video, my strength grows and I’m finally able to control my power at the end of it all.”

Lucifer – California Son

Lucifer are gearing up to release their new album Lucifer II (can you guess it’s their sophomore album?) this June and to get you stoked for it, the band have unveiled the opening track. Titled ‘California Son’, the single comes paired with an old school style heavy rock music video.

Sink The Ship – Out Of Here

Here’s just the pop of colour you need to brighten up your week. Sink The Ship‘s new music video ‘Out Of Here’ definitely satisfies on an aesthetic point of  view (and of course, melodic too!) The band’s latest album Persevere, where the track is taken off of is out now.
