In the sphere of rock and metal, Download wears the crown for the genres most infamous festival; lineup additions, omissions, and positions often dominate discussion for the months leading up to the weekend in Donnington. This all comes with a very little surprise, arguably no festival in existence has been the birthplace to more defining moments in a bands career than Download (remember Slipknot in 2009?). With some fairly recent lineup additions we thought we'd sift through and give you some pointers on who not to miss out on come June.

Marmozets

Seen as the band that came along with perfect timing to pull British rock music out of the trenches, Yorkshire mob Marmozets made their name through an incredible debut album, an even better live performances to support it. Recently released sophomore album Knowing What You Know Now didn’t quite manage to take over from it predecessor, but still shone with beaming quality. It’s going to be interesting to see how they command a main stage crowd four years after their original burst.
