Here’s how you know the year has well and truly kicked in – in the past week we’ve had A BUNCH of new tracks being released, which just means more tracks to add to the playlist. With brand new music videos from the likes of Fall Out Boy and Seaway, we’ve pretty much got it covered with fun loving tunes to help us through the dreary winter. Keep reading and check out the six music videos we think you should check out this week.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. – VHS Forever

Shortly before the release of album his Young Adult, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. has released a brand new music video for the track ‘VHS Forever’. Describing it as an ‘absurd’ song, the artist behind Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly.Sam Duckworth shares: “Being an artist that’s been around for a long time a lot of people say to me: ‘I used to remember you from my primary school’ and I just think, well I’m talking to adults who remember me from their childhood, when in some ways I still feel like I’m still a child myself. [In ‘VHS Forever’] I’m just trying to wrap it all up into a nice little bubble in a way that doesn’t feel too heavy.”

Rise Against – House On Fire

Rise Against‘s latest album Wolves debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock albums charts and so it is no surprise that their new track ‘House On Fire’ is pretty massive. Check out its heartwarming music video right here:

Firewind – We Defy

Firewind are currently riding the wave of their latest release Immortals, and they have now unveiled a music video for their track ‘We Defy’. The video features some killer live footage of the Greek melodic metal outfit performing in their hometown of Thessaloniki. Full of energy, it gives a glimpse of what the band’s live show looks like.

Fall Out Boy – Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)

We’ve always wondered if anyone actually watches any of those TV Shopping channels, and honestly if half the products were as kooky as those featured in Fall Out Boy’s latest video for ‘Wilson (Expensive Mistakes)’, there would probably be a lot of unnecessary purchases being made. I mean, we’re here contemplating buying a pair of rare dancing llamas (it all makes sense if you watch the video).

Black Veil Brides – Wake Up

Black Veil Brides have just released their fifth studio album Vale, and to coincide with its release they have also brought out a new video for their track ‘Wake Up’. Watch the video below, which is set in a dystopian world called the United Global Alliance, where the primary source of news is a channel called Fear News Network.

Seaway – London

“But I could never move to London” Seaway proclaim in their latest track (surprise surprise) ‘London’. Catch the Seaboiz on a skiing trip whilst vocalist Ryan Locke‘s love interest is gallivanting around the capital. The track is yet another catchy jam taken off of the Canadian band’s latest record Vacation, released late last year.
