The weather seems to be consistently grim lately and while that’s a downer for the most part, it does mean there are a lot more nights in. So of course, what better time to get caught up with all the fantastic new music that’s been released in the past week.
Deadly Circus Fire – Shinigami Fall
London prog-metallers Deadly Circus Fire have just unveiled the first track off their upcoming third album and is also the first to feature their new vocalist David Pear. In between working away on their new release, the band will also be playing a show supporting Uneven Structure this October so it will surely be a great time to catch some sneak peeks of new material.
I The Mighty – Chaos In Motion
This video is quite literally the most frustrating thing you will watch this week as I The Mighty showcase items out of place, chaotic scenarios and really just occurences that will annoy you. The track is taken off the band’s forthcoming album Where The Mind Wants To Go / Where You Let It Go, releasing October 20th.
The Dirty Youth – Hurricane
The Dirty Youth have released their new music video for their latest single ‘Hurricane’, which singer Danni Monroe describes as “a metaphor for if we all get together, we can overcome the hate and negativity in society.” Following the band’s recent signing to Marshall Records, they also announced that they will be heading down to the legendary Abbey Road Studios to record some new material.
Motionless In White – Necessary Evil
Following the recent release of their new record Graveyard Shift, Motionless In White have revealed their new video for ‘Necessary Evil’, a track that features guest vocals from none other than Korn‘s Jonathan Davis. The band will also be making their long awaited return to the UK next January for their first full UK tour in two years.
The Family – Ain’t Gonna Happen Like That
What’s happening in this new music video by The Family, you ask? The truth is we’re not too sure either, but at least the track is damn catchy. ‘Ain’t Gonna Happen Like That’ is taken off the band’s debut EP Welcome To The Family, which is out now.
Hollywood Undead – Renegade
In Hollywood Undead‘s new video for ‘Renegade’, the narrative follows a post-apocalyptic world where everyone fends for themselves. “I hope this song and video can inspire kids to believe that they can change the world, and it’s up to them if it’s for the better or worse. The truth is that the kids of today, are the renegades of tomorrow,” says Johnny 3 Tears of the single. ‘Renegade’ is taken off the band’s upcoming album FIVE.
Movements – Colorblind
Movements recently announced the release of their debut album Feel Something, which drops October 20th. To coincide with the announcement, the band have dropped a brand new video for the track ‘Colorblind’. Movements will hit the UK in December supporting Knuckle Puck alongside Have Mercy and Tiny Moving Parts.
