We here at mosh are big fans of the obscure and the underrated. We are also partial to the sounds of 70s/80s rock. And there's nothing more saddening than when your friends and family cannot relate to your love for huge, punchy rock tracks. It means that 1. They cannot fan out about it with you. 2. They cannot sing along with you when you play it on full blast. 3. They don't get your lyrical references.
It's all a huge depressing ordeal, but that's not exactly what we wanted to talk about here. We wanted to share with you the seven 70s/80s rock tracks that we think are extremely underrated in the rock scene.
2. ‘Vacation’ – The Go-Go’s
A lot of people don’t know who The Go-Go‘s are, and those who have heard of them probably only know their hit ‘We Got The Beat’. But their song ‘Vacation’ is one of the most soothing pop-rock tracks of all time. The surf-rock sounds of this 80s tune would be the perfect soundtrack to accompany any good teen movie directed by John Hughes.. or you know, any other person who made films in the 80s.
