We here at mosh are big fans of the obscure and the underrated. We are also partial to the sounds of 70s/80s rock. And there’s nothing more saddening than when your friends and family cannot relate to your love for huge, punchy rock tracks. It means that 1. They cannot fan out about it with you. 2. They cannot sing along with you when you play it on full blast. 3. They don’t get your lyrical references.
It’s all a huge depressing ordeal, but that’s not exactly what we wanted to talk about here. We wanted to share with you the seven 70s/80s rock tracks that we think are extremely underrated in the rock scene. [/tps_header]
1. ‘D’yer Mak’er’ – Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin is one of the biggest bands in the world. And we all know that they have many great and beloved tunes, so to highlight one of their songs in a feature that has the word “underrated” in the title probably seems a little crazy. But ‘D’yer Mak’er’ gets a bad rap and it definitely isn’t deserved. The upbeat anthem can put you in a good mood no matter what.
